We were lucky to create a custom rose gold hair vine for the bride and rose gold and cubic zirconia earring and necklace sets for her 8 bridesmaids.
As the chill of September hits, we remember a sunny day in June when Paige and Brandon were married in Chatham, ON. Eager to start their married life together, no detail was spared in this gorgeous, vintage-inspired wedding with a rural feel. Paige wanted the perfect jewelry to fit this vintage theme, and I was proud to create custom pieces for her and her girls.
Ever since Brandon popped the question with a rose gold, vintage-inspired engagement ring, Paige was feeling the boho vibes. Paige and I sat down one day and discussed the feel of her wedding as well as what the girls would be wearing. Together, we decided that teardrop cubic zirconia crystal necklaces and studs set in rose gold would complement both their dresses and the vintage feel of the wedding.
I've been creating custom jewelry for several years with brides, and I always tell them to let me know as soon as they choose "the dress", as this determines the feel for the entire day, let alone the direction the jewelry will take. This was no exception in Paige's case, as she chose the Essense of Australia Guipure-Lace Dress, a beautiful gown with an illusion-back, illusion-bodice with lace details, and a chiffon skirt. It tells a story all on its own, but we wanted to perfectly accentuate and enhance the romantic feel with the right amount of detail.
Using a pearl and crystal encrusted rose gold brooch as a focal point, I created a hair piece with Swarovski pearls and crystals, designed to weave in to her fishtail-braided, romantic updo. Another accent added to the dress was a beautiful crystal sash belt that Paige picked up at Nicholas & Elizabeth Bridal in London, ON.

The photos speak for themselves; the wedding was gorgeous!
Paige had this to say about her custom jewelry experience:
"I was very particular with what I wanted for my wedding, as most ladies are! However, I was very impressed with how Allison was able to take my vision and run with it, going above and beyond anything I ever dreamed of. I got so many compliments that day, and I was proud to let everyone know that it was created locally and custom! If you are looking for something custom-made for your special day, I highly recommend her!"
I honestly love working with brides to complete their custom jewelry for their wedding. I love creating custom looks, and having been a bridesmaid FOREVER, I have lots of experience in customizing for different dress styles, types and feels. If you are interested in custom jewelry, don't hesitate to reach out!
